Welcome to the Music Upload Page for VKIBC NYC Finals.

It is time to submit music for the VKIBC NYC Finals, 2017! MUSICAL SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE ON Friday, May 26th, 2017.
If you submit or change your music after this date, you will be charged a penalty fee of $50 USD.
IN ORDER TO SUBMIT MUSIC, YOU MUST CREATE AN ACCOUNT WITH SYNCHTANK:

Instructions:

First you will need to create an account with your email and password of your choice. Please fill out all the fields (in English).

  • Use your First and Last name for the user name.
  • You will then be sent an email to confirm your account. Follow all instructions within the email.
  • Then log into your account using the link provided with your email and password.

NOW YOU CAN UPLOAD YOUR MUSIC:

ALL MUSICAL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE IN MP3 FILES. Each musical submission should be submitted separately.

  • CLASSICAL COMPETITION: For Pas de Deux you will need to submit each piece of the ballet individually (pas de deux, men's solo, female's solo and coda,) but only once per Pas de Deux pair.
  • CONTEMPORARY COMPETITION: For duets and groups musical submissions can be made once. You do not need to submit separate musical submissions for each participant.

CONFIRMING MUSICAL SUBMISSIONS:

You will receive a notification for each music submission. Please be patient, this is a manual process in which someone will be checking your submission for sound quality and correct information. If your music is corrupt or missing information, you will be asked to resubmit.

BACK UP MUSIC:

  • CLASSICAL COMPETITION: CDs should be marked with the participant’s first and last name, division, the round in which the variation will be competed, classical solo number or contemporary solo and the variation name.
  • For solo variations, the CD should contain only one variation.
  • For Pas de Deux the CD should have all variations (Pas de Deux, men’s solo, female’s solo and coda) in the correct performance order.
  • CONTEMPORARY SOLOS AND DUETS IN THE CLASSICAL COMPETITION: CDs should be marked with the participant’s first and last name, division, the round in which the solo or duet will be competed, classical or contemporary solo and the title of the work.
  • CONTEMPORARY COMPETITION: For all competition categories (solo, duet, group), the CD should contain only one piece of music.
    • For solos please do not send all of your competition musical selections on one CD.
    • For solos CDs should be marked with the participant’s first and last name, the category in which the participant will compete, the solo number (1 or 2) and the title of the work.
    • For duets CDs should be marked with both participant’s first and last names, the category in which the participants will compete and the title of the work.
    • For groups choose one representative in the group to bring your back up musical CDs. CDs should be marked with your representative’s first and last name, the category in which the participants will compete and the title of the work.
