Mi Sook Jeon
As an internationally recognized choreographer and dance educator of Korea, Mi Sook Jeon taught, performed and choreographed in numerous international festivals including Seoul Dance festival, SPAF 2008, White Bird Festival, and Jacob's Pillow Dance. Prof. Jeon is the choreographer who was awarded three times from The Korean Association of Dance Critics, and her work is acclaimed for its ingenuity, elaborate stage arrangement, unique musical interpretation and at times, provocative perspectives. Since 1998, she has been a faculty member of Korea National University of Arts where she had served as the dean of School of Dance in 2005-2006. After serving as a choreographer in residence for TAM dance company from 1891 to 1998, she choreographed for Korea’s prominent dance companies such as K-Arts Dance company as well as Korea National Contemporary Dance Company.
